Our Purpose
The Walk with Jesus Fundraiser, hosted by Salty Farm Ministries, is more than just a walk - it’s a movement of faith, compassion, and community. This event brings people together to step into the example of Jesus by impacting lives experiencing homelessness with love, dignity, and purpose.
What it is...
Participants will join in a symbolic walk of faith, raising awareness and support for outreach efforts that provide essential resources such as food, clothing, showers, access to resources, and hope to individuals in need. Every step taken help extend the mission of Salty Farm Ministries to reach the underserved and remind them they are not forgotten.
Through this event, we aim to inspire hearts, strengthen community connections, and create lasting impact. Whether you walk, give, volunteer, or pray, you are part of a greater mission...to be the hands and feet of Jesus in action.

What to Expect at the Walk

Jesus
Since this is a Walk with Jesus we are expecting His Presence to fill the beach! We will kick off the event with Praise & Worship plus a send off prayer for all walkers. We will close the event with more Praise & Worship and baptisms in the Gulf. Bring a towel if you want to get baptized!

The Walk
There will be a 1-mile loop and a 2-mile loop along the beach mapped out for walkers. Walkers can pick any variation of the loops to walk during that time! You pick the pace and the length you want to go. Water will be provided along the route (the drinkable kind, not just the beautiful Gulf!)

Baptisms will be held after awards.
The formal event will close after awards. However, feel free to stick around after awards for baptisms, fellowship, & fun. All activities will end by 2pm.

Celebration
After the walk is over, we will celebrate the movement of God through this walk and the impact it had on walkers, teams, and those we will reach through the generous giving of our supporters! The celebration will include individual walker prizes (tees, swag bags), team prizes (pizza parties and beach bonfires), and the top team traveling trophy. But the real celebration will be the community impact we will have!
